They are made with a particular type of washi paper, called RAKUSUI (落水) combined with a PVC box, creating a pleasant "see and not see" effect.
RAKUSUI "落水" is created in the sieving phase, by making the water fall on a frame with a predefined texture overlapping it to the base one.
